Chocolate Doughnuts

My husband was away at a conference last week, so my daughter and I had a girls’ weekend–and that involved a lot of food! Our usual stop at Starbucks Saturday morning for coffee (iced tea for her), lunch at P.F. Chang’s where we enjoyed Garlic Snap Peas and Buddha’s Feasts, So Delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream in the afternoon, and homemade pizza for supper–with s’mores for dessert! Yesterday I decided we needed to have chocolate doughnuts, so I used the recipe from Babycakes Covers the Classics, and viola! I used the last of the glaze from the Cinnamon Roll Waffles to make them extra decadent.
